For the fourth time, the autumn Monday evenings in our company were enriched by common moments with participants from Czechitas. We met at the DevOps course that we run every year.
“Over the last ten weeks I have once again had the privilege of leading this exciting course with our team of coaches. We have tought not only the theoretical knowledge but also showed our participants how to put this knowledge into practice. It’s always a great pleasure to see participants develop and gain confidence in their technical skills during the course.”
– Robert, main lecturer
Participants gained an overview of the practices and tools of modern automated application operation. Git, Docker, and Ansible are certainly no longer unfamiliar to them. In addition to the theory, the course includes many practical exercises designed to provide a solid foundation on which participants can build their future professional development.
In particular, during the course participants learned:
- working in a Linux server environment,
- preparing an application server and running an application in it,
- the application lifecycle, including CI/CD principles,
- problem diagnosis,
- versioning code and configuration according to “what’s not in Git doesn’t exist”,
- the importance of automation and minimising manual work,
and discovered the importance of our motto “we know why it works”… and why it doesn’t.
We complemented the online course by bringing together participants from different parts of the country during our offline informal meeting, as in previous years.
Congratulations to all participants for successfully completing the course and we look forward to seeing you again next time.
Our cooperation with Czechitas does not end even after the conclusion of the course. Keep an eye on the Czechitas website for information on new courses. We are also preparing for our involvement in the Czechitas Digital Academy, so there is definitely something to look forward to next year.
